Starting from January 1st of the current year, only stationary physicians and nurses will receive the minimum wage increment.
What does the change entail? According to information from the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Social Protection of Georgia, the minimum wage for physicians will be set at 7 GEL per hour (1,260 GEL per month) and for nurses at 4.4 GEL per hour (792 GEL per month).
According to the Ministry’s information, the wage increase will affect up to 9,000 doctors and more than 8,000 nurses.
